A cigarette is the perfect type of a perfect pleasure. It is exquisite, and it leaves one unsatisfied. What more can one want?

How do you get the smell of cigarette smoke out of things, including delicate fabric, that can't be washed? (And yes, my first thought is chuck 'em, but unfortunately that's not an option.)

Anyone used eBay's new video feature yet to include a video link in an auction?
For a company that has a strict external links policy, this is a pretty big deal.
I watched one of the vids which was advertising a guitar, and it was typical YouTube fare: an amusing little tee-hee worthy song.
But would it make me pay $800 for the guitar?
Watching someone using a guitar that they want me to shell out $800 for something they pretended to brush their teeth with...not so enticing to my wallet.
That said, if the guy had actually played something of substance on the guitar so I could really hear the tone and had said exactly why a Martin is worth $800, then, yeah, it would have helped. So, I can see where videos can be useful.
For my business, I would use it to provide a music sample if I were selling my own albums on eBay. Until that happens, I may play around with using it to provide quality samples of Jem cassettes.
Still, I have a problem with the time it takes to read what I call Big Blob O' Text auctions. I don't have time to watch a vid on everything I purchase. Nor do I have the interest.
I'm really curious how this will evolve...
